  • This program explores the skills required to create and deliver highly effective presentations with confidence and style. It also includes how to use visual aids to achieve optimal impact.

  • The use of skeletal notes, including mind maps.
  • The differences between spoken and written English in communicating ideas.
  • The importance of rehearsal.
  • Effective use of voice.
  • Controlling nerves.
  • Anticipating questions and responding appropriately.
  • Practical session - impromptu presentation.
  • Practical session - prepared presentation.

Assessment details

  • You may achieve a Statement of Attainment if you choose to be assessed for this module. Assessment is by workplace project.
  • Assessment is optional.
